        • Welp. Let's see if Juwan Howard can dig out of this hole. '23-'24 is going to be a shitshow. If we win more games than we lose next year, I'll be pretty surprised.

            • We know that Juwan Howard can recruit lights out when times are good. Now we'll see if he can recruit when times aren't good.

We know that he's not a bum, but I am developing doubts about whether he has the chops to maintain a program long term. I think that we're paying the price right now for that ''21 recruiting class being a total bust.

              • It's really difficult as a fan to care a lot about CBB when the entire roster seems to change year to year. If someone does pan out, they're gone after a single season. At least in football they have to be in college for 3 years so there's an actual attachment between the players, university, and fans. Basketball has just gone total mercenary to the point the coaches have to cobble together a new roster every year and simply hope it all gels in time for a tourney run at the end of the season. Rinse and repeat. It's just AAU ball with "college" written on the front of the jersey.

                  • Losing your best players after their freshman season feels kinda like a 1-night stand. You spend more time recruiting them than they actually play.

                      • That freshman season sometimes isn't even all that productive.

That too. Super athletic guys who aren't very good at basketball but will still go in the first round of the NBA are a waste of recruiting resources.

                            • It is being reported that Kansas is offering Hunter $ 4 million over two years. UM would do well to match the bid.

                              • Greg Glenn is entering the portal. Good for UM if they can bring back Hunter.
