      • Sound of Freedom up 37%. Looks pretty likely to have a larger gross than Indiana Jones. DSL despondent as film drawing attention to horrors of child trafficking soars and Disney garbage tanks.

                  • Also, why are you two smoothbrained reprobates up so early? Usually, your late night Zima drinking and buggery keeps you both from checking in until around 9am.

Sound of Freedom will pass Cocaine Bear in total gross this week but its worldwide take is less than a third of Indy 5, Dial of Despair.

I saw where Ballard left Operation Underground Railroad, the org the movie is supposed to be about. Didn't hear why.

                          • Yeah, well, I'm guessing Sound of Freedom has spent about $150M less on marketing than Disney did on Indy 5, so worldwide isn't going to work for them....yet. But -- and this is really important -- to the extent any fucktwat believes this is some sort of right/left movie -- the ginormous SECOND weekend gain is a slap in the face. It's not, as some on the left suggested, pumped up because of Fourth of July numbers.

I really haven't a clue how or why anyone could see this as a political movie. But, remarkably, a lot of people do. And then that creates a reaction and then more people do. And original shit-posting and shit-writing had absolutely nothing to do with the actual movie.

So now that it is some sort pro-child trafficking vs anti-child trafficking battle, I'm gonna have to mock one side.

                            • Anyways was the movie good? Fun for the whole family? Foxhopper wants to know if you're man enough to admit seeing a film.
