  • Don Brown doesn't try to slow down opposing offenses, he tries to stop them and instead gets killed by big plays. I don't think either strategy will work vs Bama, both M's defensive line and defensive backs will be out talented, by a lot.... Bama should score 38+ unless they have self inflicted wounds.

M's offense has had too much trouble executing against less talented defenses, don't see them scoring enough to keep it close. 41-24 Bama.

    • Lets just get it over with.

Move on to the 2020 season.

      Bama 41-20

                  I don't get what you're saying.

I think the line is close to accurate at 7. So, it's not a good play from my viewpoint. Bama should win, but it should be close and an M victory isn't out of the question.

You think it's a blowout. It is easy money if you're confident you're right.

                  • I expect a 37-34 (+\- 4) game.

The only bet I would consider on this is the over. But with us playing a back-up QB who likes to throw pick sixes, my confidence isn't very high.

                    • No way does it get into a scoring fest. Alabama's not-secret weapon is the OL and Najee Harris. When you can dominate the game with a running game like that, your opponent has no chance.

I remember in the olden days, when Michigan craved opponents who would dare run against them. They hated playing passing teams, and had trouble beating them. But, if their opponent was a running team, Michigan usually feasted on them. They prided themselves on being able to stop any running game in the country. Even Bo Jackson said after playing Michigan, that Michigan hit him harder than any team he'd played against, up till that point.

Now? Running teams feast on Michigan. Alabama is a very good running team. They won't need their passing game, but they'll get their share of yards thru the air.

This is the OSU game, Act II.

                      Guaranteed.

                      • We aren't a running team. It's not our strength. We are 56th in the nation in rushing offense - behind Minnesota, Central Michigan, and well, more that 50 other D1 teams.

Part of that is Najee's back-up Trey Sanders is (you guessed it) out for the season with an injury. And considering Tua and the stable of WRs we had, 80% of practice was devoted to pass pro with the O-line.

                        • This morning's compendium of rumors (not from my lips):

Saban's last game. He's moving on to an NFL front office job.

                          Kemp is injured beyond starting.

jess Speight is in the rotation at DE.

Last M game for Ruiz and Collins.

                          TIFWIF

I'm in stadium. Weather is beautiful

M is warming up out of pads and with numberless white, long sleeve shirts on. Alabama in full pads and unis. 28m to KO. Stadium maybe 70% full. Bama fans outnumber M fans by a lot.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Saban's last game? LOL... that's a good one. Grain of salt stuff.

Not surprised at Alabama fans outnumbering M fans. M fans know what's coming. They can see it at home a lot easier and cheaper. Trip is easier for Bama fans. Almost another home game.
