If you're asking this question then you don't understand how Ohio State approaches this game. And, as an aside, they have very definitely need to win to (a) ensure that they make the CFP; and (b) keep the #1 seed so as to avoid a semifinal matchup with Clemson death star.

Oh, I understand it. Cost is no factor in the defeat of Michigan. Nothing would make me happier (and sadder for the victim) than to see day sacrifice a player to effect a victory to then march into the play-off season without a key component of their offense.

The OSU guy is sandbagging his expectations for the game, and pretty much all of the M fans aren't buying it.

Angelique Chengelis interviewed one of the beat writers for OSU yesterday in the Snooze, and he pretty much nailed what most OSU fans think. He said about the only chance he sees for a Michigan win is for the weather to become a factor. Otherwise, he sees a comfortable OSU win. He felt that OSU owns the advantages almost everywhere on the field.

Not sure why he believes the weather would be an equalizer, because OSU destroyed Wisconsin on a bad weather day, and Wisconsin obliterated Michigan.

There's going to be nothing to see for M fans on Saturday. Its better to go see a movie, or go do some post-Black Friday Christmas shopping. It will accomplish more.

I still believe ALL of that, Jeff. I believe OSU is the most corrupt athletic program in the conference, and maybe even in the top 3 in all of college sports. My feelings about that have not changed, and they never will. The charade that 'the senator' put on there for years was an absolute joke. Then Meyer comes along and doubles down on all that, and he becomes 'one of the best coaches ever". And what happens to OSU? They are rewarded with playoffs, and recruiting classes that are off the scale. And, of course, wins in our series.

The conclusion is, at least for them, cheating pays. It pays on the scoreboard, it pays in recruiting, it pays in getting Heisman-caliber transfers to replace departing Heisman candidates, and it pays in their treasury. OSU is one of the most profitable programs in college sports. But they walk that tightrope better than any other program in the history of college sports.

I don't wish anything good for them. I hope their stupid little salvation army root-a-toot band gets their feet soaked in the Michigan rain that falls all day long, and they freeze their little tootsies to the artificial turf while the sing about that whore named 'karmen'. I'd love to see them lose, and see all their team buses and band buses get stuck in US-23 traffic for 10 hours between Ann Arbor and Toledo, and that their waste tanks on their buses overflow into the bus cabin. That whole freaking state can kiss my fat ass.

My son sees a lot of the players they all hate Michigan State, not so much osu. Trust me. The media and such still try to act like this is "The Game'. Yes 2016 was important, Michigan could have won the B10 went to the CCG and playoffs. Another loss and they move on. Remember how the players (Gary) were after the loss to Sparty on Amazon Primes 'All Or Nothing'? That was bad, devastating in fact.



We beat that rape covering fuck Dantiono. I was really stressed that day (in a unhealthy way) until the late 3rd when it turned into gleeful joy. Its really the only game I care about these days.
