  • do you see a path where Michigan is ever at the OSU talent level

No, but I can see that gap closing.

That's hilarious and true. They really could field 3/4 of the final Heisman candidates.

Replace Michigan with Alabama or Georgia or Clemson or Oklahoma, and the final score is probably similar. LSU maybe could beat this team once in 4 or 5 tries.
Penn State played this same team and held them to half has many points.

No one has a victory against THIS OSU team. No one has even come close. Maybe next year a win will be a realistic goal. This is not the year for you to be pretending like getting destroyed by OSU is some shameful sin.

          • Fire Harbaugh and replace him with the OC from Clemson or LSU

They were in 2016. They were probably a little deeper. Speights fucked them over.

OSU is not going to be at this ridiculous talent level forever. Even Alabama couldn't keep that lopsided edge year after year.

              • Penn State only lost to them by 11 on the road and MSU held them to 34 on the road. Quit being an apologist and acting like any coach would have suffered this same result. We put up the same results as Rutgers.

Yes, just like the Lions firing their HC and replacing him with the OC from the Ravens or the DC from the Patriots has solved all their ills.

So basically we will get the players the Buckeyes don't want. I am not sure it will ever close enough to where Michigan doesn't have to play a perfect game and have breaks go their way just to be competitive. I think that is what we are down to everything going right to maybe have a 5% chance of beating the Buckeyes.

Is this even a rivalry anymore?
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

                    • Penn State had quite a few breaks to keep the Buckeyes from scoring. I didn't see that game as being near as close as the scoreboard.

                      ????

                        LOL

This is just stupidity. Those games were over before halftime and OSU took their foot off the gas. In PSU's case, they fumbled them the ball like 3 times in a row inside their own territory to make it seem way more close than it was.

I actually watched those games, They were over very quickly. Michigan gave up more points but they were actually attacking them instead of getting into the Dantonio fetal position and just trying not to lose by too much.

                        • OSU beats PSU by at least 28 on any normal day.

                          • Looks like the excuses brigade came prepared today!

Better make sure that you are prepared next year, and the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that,,,,,

                            • If the excuse is that the other team has one of the most loaded rosters in the history of football, that one just might stick.

I would have been on board with letting Harbaugh go after last year. You cannot with a straight face say that any other coach in America living or dead would have beaten this 2019 edition of Ohio State, not with Michigan;s roster or Alabama's or 122 other D1 rosters.

                              • Would it be too much to ask to not give up 56 points for the second year in a row? Or maybe for the game to not be over shortly after halftime?
