56-27. I didn't think Michigan could beat this Ohio State team, at least not without a lot of help from the Buckeyes. I was hoping Michigan could manage not to get embarrassed again. That evidently was too much to hope for. A terrific football team won The Game today. Congratulations to them-- the Buckeyes deserved it.
As for Michigan, I don't know what the answer is, if there even is an answer. I don't know how this staff recovers from another pummelling like this. At some point, you just don't have any credibility any more, and if you can't do better than this in the biggest game of your season, your ability to reach your team has to suffer. I can't think of anybody out there who'd take the job who would necessarily do any better, and another coaching change would put Michigan well behind not just Ohio State, but the rest of the top of the conference. I don't think another coaching search is the answer, but I don't think the talent gap is this huge, either-- it's there, but Penn State's managed to be competitive against Ohio State, at least, and Penn State's not worlds more talented than Michigan. Just another terribly disappointing performance when it's mattered most.Last edited by JRB; November 30, 2019, 03:44 PM.

I posted this on my facebook page....
It pains me to say it. But I don't think I will ever see Michigan beat Ohio State ever again in football.
And following that logic. Michigan will never get to the CC. Michigan will never play in the CFP (as long as it is only 4 teams).2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

If you want Harbaugh fired, that's fair. Just don't pretend to say it's because of this game. They're playing an NFL team. They may be one of the most loaded teams of all time. LSU is the only team that I think can keep it close but they;d be pretty solid underdogs as well.

Nope. He's a good coach and probably there isn't a better one we could get under the current system. This is what it feels like to be the Pacers in the 90s and unable to get past Jordan's Bulls. Let's see what might happen when we can pay players. That's going to be an equalizer. Until then, unless it's clear we can do better than Harbaugh I don't see the point.

Doesn't matter if they brought Bill Bellichek in to be HC.
Michigan will never beat OSU in football again. Michigan will never get to the Big Ten CC. And never get into the CFP (as long as it is 4 teams)
Ohio State has the edge in talent and the willingness (and bag men) to do what they have to maintain their edge and increase it.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

This game wasn't about Harbaugh, or Michigan. A college team played an NFL team with a couple of college kids sprinkled in. Didn't matter which college team was on the field.
Replace Michigan with Alabama or Georgia or Clemson or Oklahoma, and the final score is probably similar. LSU maybe could beat this team once in 4 or 5 tries.Last edited by Kstat; November 30, 2019, 03:48 PM.
