It’s been decided. Probably weeks ago. They were probably mum on it for recruiting. But Harbaugh has definitely saved his job. He or somebody else duped Manuel into accepting Don Brown as the guilty party.
Saving his job is Harbaugh’s signature win. Congrats, Jim. You finally scored an upset.
I’m sure quality candidates are beating down the door to jump onto a sinking ship. (At first I typed Titanic but changed it because that’s not an apt analogy. That ship had a lot of upside and promise).
Seems like they'll completely revamp their defensive staff and probably stick with #SpeedInSpace!!!! and HARBAUGH!!!! and Warriner to handle the offensive side.
I'm very disappointed that Don Brown is gone. Very disappointed.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
CRD is entering a world of pain. This just makes M's Surrender Monkeying all the more painful. CRD should be 2-0 against HARBAUGH!!!! Instead, he's only 1-0 and that's going to turn to 1-1 damn quick.

I think this may be part of a major sweep of assistants. One of the key components of Harbaugh's reported extension gives him more money to sign assistants. I doubt he plans to give raises to most of his current staff. I think a major house cleaning is coming. Its really all Harbaugh has left. If he doesn't get it right in 2021, he won't be back in 2022.
I'd give Derek Mason the inside track to being new DC. He's worked with Harbaugh before and is reportedly following Michigan coaches on twitter now.
