Don't expect such views to be accepted as accurate when no factual proof exists that they might be.
My expectations are not to have the right answers. I don't have a crystal ball and there's no money at stake. I do however think it's good to pose good questions to group of people interested in what the answers might be. Am here for that kinda thing.
Mr. hack, what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Actually, I skimmed the UFR defense for the ND game. Why? Because it passed the eyeball test of pretty good. However, there are mitigating factors summed up in one paragraph from Brian within his UFR. So, Cliff Notes:
....... just don't want to go into a game all hyped up about Michigan's SP+ ranking (Defense, #2) only for it to be eviscerated. I think there's something to the idea that there is a certain level of offense that just dies when confronted with Don Brown and that things can get wobbly when Michigan hits higher level opponents. Not must get wobbly, but there's been a certain, uh, lack of linearity in Michigan's performances over the past couple years.
That's really good stuff right there. The rest of the UFR is filled with examples of defensive greatness made possible by Ian Booke being terrible and Don Brown succeeding against ND's anemic run game where you wouldn't be thinking he would deploying variations of 3-3-5s against it. Well, it did. Another pertinent quote:
This was a baby seal clubbing almost unprecedented in Michigan's modern history. First some caveats. Whenever you hold an opponent to barely 100 yards there's something wrong with them that has nothing to do with you, whether it's playing a fifth-string quarterback or being Rutgers. Here the weather had a hand but also hoooooly crap Ian Book was horrific.
Brain didn't say this but I know he thought it but is careful about what he says in a public forum. I don't care.
Brian Kelly had his team unprepared to play Michigan in weather that was totally predicted and that prediction was solid by Wednesday. Sure, Booke was "horrific" but he was made so by the coaching staff that asked him to do impossible things in the weather conditions that prevailed. Once the weather got better, ND was so overwhelmed and M so hyped up with blood thirst that there was no coming back. I enjoyed, as did Brain, watching Brian Kelly stew on the sidelines.
M has to go on the road Saturday against a team that appears to be in the fail mode but still has talent on offense that can rip a Don Brown defense if pressure doesn't get applied successfully, gap discipline is not maintained when zone is played behind the front 7 - something Brown is doing a lot of lately and his minions seem to be getting better at executing the switches required in Brown's traps - or edges are challenged and that challenge is not met with funneling speedy dudes back into the middle.

Gary Moeller was a doggone good football coach. I wish his career could have continued until he was ready to retire. He was a recruiting machine, especially in Ohio. And, his players seemed to really enjoy playing for him. Instead of smacking his wife in the mouth for cheating on him, he should have just got up, walked out, left her with the check, and found a better woman.
"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, .. I'd worn them for weeks, and they needed the air"
Mo is a good guy, I like him and wished it didn't happen. He pushed an officer outside Excalibur (who my Dad knew at the time) - I guess that was the last straw for him getting arrested. Rest is history.
Author, BronxBlue's point? Why is the fan base so angry?
Well, here's another fun fact:
M ranks #84th nationally on 3rd down conversions (.381) through 11/2. Defenses that can get M to 3rd and anything are in good shape. The reason M didn't score 50+ points v. the Turtle, like they probably should have, is because they couldn't get out of their own way about 90% of the time and Maryland played good D about 10% of the time.
FGS, it's week 10 and there are 3 more games left on M's schedule. THREE! Last season, M ranked 36th in that category. Fans expected more from a senior QB, operating behind an OL with 5 returning starters with All-Big-Ten potential in a new offense that was going to feature speed in space and a passing game that featured 3 future NFL receivers.
Yet, the offense is still futzing around, looks janky at times and appears to be just OK at home and badly inconsistent on the road. That's why.
Look, MSU is fading, right? But this will probably be Mark Dantonio's last chance to leave MSU with a winning record v. Harbaugh. Sparty will come ready to play.
Road game in Bloomington .... against a pretty good, 7-2 Hoosier that has given both M and osu trouble in the recent past? Really? Given what we know about M's offense, about coaching and player trends, about Harbaugh teams on the road, is anyone confident M can win that one.
And osu? Forget it.
I see a good chance of 0-3, a bit better chance of 1-2 and, maybe M can eek out 2-1, no chance at 3-0. So, 8-4 is probably the floor, 9-3 the ceiling. I'll bet if you ask yourself how you thought M would finish the 2019 season, and are honest, that would be exactly what you'd realistically have said.
So, don't be angry.
