  • My wife says enough tv for me. I have to take her out for an early dinner.

Hopefully Chryst will be satisfied with a sound beating than a Meyer-like blowout.

    • For the love of god can we not send Shea back in there. Go wildcat if you have to.

      • Would rather see Joe Milton or Cade McNamara than Shea.

        • Why risk having Milton or McNamara by exposing them to potential injury here?

I think I provided the link to the web site called Match-Quarters where this approach was detailed by a guy who had seen Brown talk about it at a coaching clinic in the summer before before the 2018 season. It's a Brown specialty. Relies on solid S play to fill that zone and it isn't there in this game.
To expand on that ..... I had said I liked this defense against Wisconsin because it put Hudson- the guy,a LB type, that steps up - in a position to fire into the backfield to disrupt Taylor or whoever. But he also has to be able to fill to the outside. We've seen this not happening with him leaning in - and I believe he was coached to do this - abandoning his edge responsibility.

Whatever, actually. I don't really give a shit.

              • Shea Patterson isn't getting much help in pass protection.

                • Patterson isn't getting anything on his passes either, no velocity.

                  • 35-14, as Michigan suddenly discovers they have a few NFL-caliber wide receivers. It looks as if both QBs are hurt, as Patterson's shoulder is now clearly a problem.

                      • Your QB's take a beating when you don't give them time to throw.

Understatement of the year. in his face from inside, chasing his ass down from the outside.

I'd expect Wisconsin to be doing this as the game closes out.

What M is trying to do is build something for the rest of the season. At least I'll give the coaches and players that. But they should have started playing with that kind of intesnityin the second quarer. Instead they continued to fuck around with their standard shit. That is a Harbaugh MO. No sense of urgency just keep dicking around.

I'm sick of it. This is doing nothing but extending the pain.

                          • Patterson has been in college football far too long to make that comical a mistake.

                              • Bright side of playing Shea, maybe this builds confidence in the offense.

Need to play better if you want to beat Iowa in 2 weeks.
