  • Never thought I'd be in favor of cutting Harbaugh loose, especially in just year five. He has no answers. He's had what, 3 OC's in 5 years? He has no clue.

This team is poorly coached, poorly prepared. Last week they got pushed around by a smaller, less talented team. Today, they're getting their ass handed to them by a good Big Ten team.

They're physically weak. When Bo was coaching, one of his top requirements of his players is that they be physically tough guys. Mentally tough too, but physically tough. This team hasn't been tough for years.

The Don Brown thing is over. His schemes have been exposed, and he has no solutions. Players are out of position, over-pursuing, and physically out matched.

They are who they are. A mediocre Big Ten team.

    • You knew defensive tackle was going to be a problem, especially on days like this. You hoped the linebacker play would be good enough to make up for it, but it's arguably been worse.

This is the worst performance of a Michigan team I have ever .... I mean EVER seen.
I will second that. I have never seen anything this pathetic - and there's no excuses for it, They aren't overmatched or worn down. They are just pathetic, and that's all of their doing.

        • If Harbaugh was paid $2-3M less per year, I would be fine with him. Issue is he is paid just under Saban and Dabo. Paid that for what?

There is no sense in analyzing this. Complete and utter failure of the defense and Don Brown. An aggressive game plan on offense murdered by mistakes, poor OL play and Shea Patterson.

Three back to back blow-outs (osu, UF, now Wisconsin) with two average to below average teams that M struggled with sandwiched in between. This is not a good football program on a lot of levels.

The 13 year debacle that is M football continues. If I had not already made air arrangements for ND, MSU and osu. I'd stay home. Now, those trips will be all about seeing family and grand kids and enjoying the tailgates and associated friends (if they even come after this) that I've enjoyed for the last 15y.

2019 will be my last as a season ticket holder. I'm done and have better things to do with my time.
          Well said.

and let the McCaffrey era begin.

              • Welp, Harbaugh gets credit for a good call. He pulls Patterson for McCaffrey.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                    • Harbaugh is safe for this year. He'll be back in 2020. The opinions of portly little rednecks like me aren't going to carry any weight with Warde Manuel.

When the people in the lux boxes have had enough, then things will happen.

Not sure who would be on a short list after the 2020 season, but let the speculation begin.

I wish I could figure out what happened to Jim Harbaugh. He's been so much better everywhere else he's went. Here at Michigan, he looks like a rerun of Gerry Faust.

                      • Unfortunately for Brown, its a scheme thing. It's hard to see it real time but I have a pretty good idea of what he was planning going into this game. He continues to do it. M has always had soft edges ....... if a runner can get there and Taylor is doing that big time. Brown's entire approach is keeping the runner from getting outside the hash marks. If that fails the opponent can thrive. That's exactly what's happening.

                        • Wisconsin's 3rd string tailback gets 23 on first and 20.

                          • I'm flabbergasted. Wisconsin may be good and I personally think they are but this is a "soft" Michigan football team and it was Hanni that said that right after Army. They quit when things go badly. That's also not new. We've seen it since Carr's Country Club act his last two years. Not a single coach of the last three have changed that problem. Not sure I get that.

                            Total collapse.

There aren't enough idiots in the lux boxes to save this nonsense.
