  • The MICHIGAN Team 140 OVER/UNDER Contest! Bigger, Better, and...More Enjoyable?

Okay, the scars from last season's end are finally healing and I'm up for helping us all do some prognosticating!

    Here are the rules:

To have your entry count, make your predictions by kickoff of the Michigan vs. Middle Tennessee State game. You can even edit your picks up until 7:29 pm on August 31st.
You get 10 points for every correct answer. Winner gets an autographed print of any game photo I shoot this season, providing the NCAA okays such things. If I shoot a football game (unlikely but possible) it will be one of those. Otherwise, you may choose your sport. Yes, my autograph may or may not decrease the value of said photo. Tough shit!

This year, there will be 33 questions...and a BIG BONUS QUESTION! Copy and paste the questions below and fill in your prediction. Answer with an OVER or UNDER. Any question that doesn't name a player or coach is a question about The Team, The Team, The Team. Not about opponents. All questions pertain to the WHOLE SEASON, unless otherwise stated. Also, HARBAUGH means Jim, not Jay or any other Harbaugh.

    GO BLUE!

Question Sir? On #29, total sacks. Is that total sacks for the Michigan defense, or total sacks given up by the Michigan offense?

    and also ..

I think the kickoff time for the Middle Tennessee game is 7:00 pm... or do you just want to have everything in early in the day?

I'm taking the over on most of the offensive categories. I'm slightly drinking the cool aid on the offense. I hated watching our offense sometimes last year, but statistically speaking, it was OK (>200 ypg both rushing and passing). It has a ton of upside if they just pick up the pace a little bit and use their weapons. At the very least, I think that they will run up some big scores against bad teams like Rutgers, Maryland, or Illinois. I wouldn't be surprised if we break 60 once or twice this year. We almost did it last year against the Cornholers. The blowouts haven't been lacking under Harbaugh.

5* QB with one 5* receiver and two other guys who have proven themselves to be really good. The tight ends had a disappointing year last year, but I expect them to rebound some this year. The only issue with the offense is that we have no experienced talent at the RB position. Wilson is, at best, a serviceable third down back. I like Turner OK but I haven't been hearing any buzz about him. We really need Charbonnet to break out early. This is the first time that I feel good about the O line in quite a while. Runyan is still going to be a liability against good defensives probably though. We need a really big year from the offense. We could lose quite a few performers to graduation and early departure off of this squad. I'm thinking we lose a bare minimum of one receiver and probably Ruiz.

Bonus Points (Worth 20): Who scores the longest TD and how many yards? It can be offense/defense/special teams but you have to nail the exact amount of yards. Black, 70 yards
