You've also got to be fairly clueless to show up in the NBA and not adjust your style at all. That's fairly tone deaf. But, in the end, it is what it is. Time will tell whether the change has been good for Michigan or not.

Freaking huge win for sure. Awesome. Yep Castleton was big. Dejulius was solid too. And how about that step in clutch bomb from Eli late.
I had this team left for dead a few weeks ago. After the Ohio State game, I think. But they're making me eat my words and I love it.AAL: KhaDarel Hodges

Huge road win. ANY road win is huge in this league this season, but this was especially important. First home loss for Rutgers all season.
At Purdue is next. Its a tough place to win. Michigan has had trouble winning there for decades. Got to bring the A game again, and it would be nice if Livers can go."in order to lead America you must love America"

Won on the road, cold from 3, without Livers, and with a big boost from a struggling player in a new role. That's a new kind of win that wasn't there to be had a few weeks ago. Very hard right now not be be very impressed with the coach.

Four straight road wins, in a year like this. That's good stuff."in order to lead America you must love America"

There's a few losses so far that would have been wins under Beilein, most certainly. But Howard's on a learning curve, and the team was in a real funk and the season could have spiralled, but that hasn't happened. It wasn't just Livers coming back that turned it around, either. I was awfully impressed with the difference between his first game against Izzo and his second.

Chalk up another win for Michigan on the road at Purdue today, winning by a score of 71-63.
Big difference down the stretch was hitting the FT's.
Franz Wagner led all scorers with 22 points, while Isiah Livers returned to the lineup and contributed 19 points. Livers was 8-8 from the charity stripe.
Wagner was 9 of 13 from the field, and 3-5 from 3-point land.
Since going 0-4 to Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State and Illinois, Michigan has now won 7 of their last 8 games, and six on the road.
Michigan returns home on Thursday to take on the Badgers, and then travels to Columbus next Sunday to take on OSU. They'll finish the season with a home game versus Nebraska, then travel to Maryland to take on the Terps, to finish the regular season.

LOL at what a lovable lummox of a 5 Davis is. Esp the flailing muppet arms when he runs the floor. But I think there really something to the bottom that were getting a more rested Take on D as a result. Seems like win at home and take at least a game on the BTT and a 7 seed is worst-case scenario. But last week the goal was to take at least one of four remaining road games, and theyve won two, so there's room here to move up. Should be ranked in the next poll.
The great thing is that the offense is functioning at a Beilein level. If they are making their there's they very you fast. If they aren't you get the constrictor games in which they just slowly build a lead and maintain it till FTs time.Last edited by hack; February 23, 2020, 05:37 AM.
