Give some credit to Harbaugh. For some reason, we were able to run the ball in the 4th quarter. Most of us were ready to abandon the ground game. The 80 yard pass to DPJ was the game changer, however.Comment

The most encouraging thing about this game was that Michigan was able to get things back under control after blowing multiple chances in the second quarter and then handing Sparty a touchdown to start the second half. Midway through the third quarter, this was looking like another underwhelming Michigan performance in East Lansing. The defensive penalties were infuriating, but the offense's ability to shake off its mistakes and make a big play when they needed one...well, it's been a while since Michigan could do that against a good opponent.Comment

Alex Hornibrook and Brian Lewerke combined the last two weeks: 12/45, 166 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs. I thought last week there was no way Michigan would make another QB look as bad as Hornibrook did.
