I doubt that. Felton Davis out, and 49 yards total offense for the half.
Felton Davis is by far their best player."Your division isn't going through Green Bay it's going through Detroit for the next five years" - Rex Ryan

This game reminds me of the 2016 Wisconsin @ M game. Very similar when it comes to elite defenses and blown opportunities by M.
Later in 2016, we found out M had serious offensive issues. Hopefully there is nothing to that with this team. ... M did put up a lot of points vs Wisconsin last week! Come on M.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Really disappointing.
This is the sludgefart game Dantonio planned on.
I can guarantee you Dantonio will dial up a screwy big play on MSU's first possession in the 3rd.
About Patterson ...... Pep was interviewed pre-game on IMG radio and Jim Brandstatter asked about Patterson's role. The primary thing Pep said was don't turn the ball over that is his number one mission.
There's a reason he's playing not to make a mistake and it's pretty clear to me some of that is on the coaching staff. Aside from the technicals, coaches have to imbue their QBs with confidence. Pep doesn't seem to be doing that and instead, taking his comment at face, emphasizing the negative.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
