Just what Dantonio needs to focus his disrespected, chip-on-the-shoulder, little brother team.

You're probably just trying to get OP to come back, but please don't ever suggest such things again. The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer exposure to such horrifying visuals.

            • Just so everyone knows this game wasn't perfect, e.g., get off the M hype-train talent, Brian lays out Patterson issues v. Wisconsin that he learns from and corrects insteaad of it becoming a trend:

              Patterson's not pulling the trigger
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • I thot Brian did a good job this week arguing his worrywart take on the game.

                • Agreed. Not a good night for Patterson, as documented by Brian.

People talking about 2/3 run - 1/3 pass ratio for Michigan, but on 1st down, Michigan went against form. In the first half, on 1st down Michigan had 9 pass attempts (including 2 that ended in sacks) versus 5 runs (including 2 QB keepers). Manball was non-existent. As the 2nd half wore on, our running game took command. We messed with their heads by passing when we would normally run, then we sound some things what would work and went with those. Look for more of the same against the Spartans.

                  • Patterson at this point looks to be a need-another-year candidate, and not an early entry. But it's hard to know how it turns out. Either way, I'm feeling good about the future at QB.

                    • McCaffrey looks really good to me in his limited PT.

                      • Michigan Monday from the Ozone by Tony Gerdeman. The most interesting thing about this piece is it's tone. Like talent, Gerdeman doesn't sound too enthused about osu's football team.

Early, but with the beat down of three BT teams in the Big House in 2018 we might just be seeing the return of the long time ago fear that opponents used to have coming to play there. The crowds, as large as they have been, have never been a factor in that era but apparently they were during Saturday night's game. That's new, but a physical mauling of the opponent by Michigan football teams has been discernibly absent for at least a decade, maybe longer.

When was the last time we saw a Michigan football team with an overwhelming lead line up in the victory formation on the opponents 15 yard line to end the game?

                        • Michigan is playing really well. I think you guys win out. You emasculated Wisconsin. Chryst on a cross, it was a beatdown.

                            • Don't know that anyone can beat M. The o-line looks to have really gotten their act together. And that's the key for Harbaugh's offense.

Congrats to the Champions of the West!

                              • Indeed, on the radio yesterday Brandon Tierney said the Wolverines are going into Spartan Stadium to lay a beat down on the Spartans and will do the same in Happy Valley to the Nittany Lions. Then they are beating OSU. He's probably right.
