Also ...... Chryst's scheme is problematic when faced with a decent run defense and an aggressive approach with LBs and Ss that Brown takes. It appears they have no idea how to come back. I think the Chryst approach works v. defenses that over-focus on the run at the expense of the riskier approach Brown takes. You've now seen how to ass-rail the Badgers.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. I would be reluctant to draw any conclusions about Michigan's future from this game-- this may have been the right sort of matchup for this defense, and I seriously doubt Brian Lewerke or Trace McSorley are going to play as poorly in the next couple of games as Alex Hornibrook has played tonight. Still, it's been fun to see a Michigan defense make a quality Big Ten QB look this bad.Comment

This is the kind of game against a tough BT opponent (15-1 on the road) that used to characterize M under Bo, Moeller and Carr (until he retired still on the job).
