Look, this is a game being lost at the tactical level - JH insists on running on first down most of the time. It puts the offense behind the sticks 90% of the time. We have nine rush attempts for 4.8 ypc, most of those on the first two drives. Since then it's probably about 2.5-3. Patterson is 7/12. Pass the fucking ball. Get this to a 60/40 pass run mix against the kind of D Maryland is running.

I disagree. We've passed more than we've run (12-9). We're outgaining MD 132-23. MD got the kick return. Nothing to do with play selection.
