I know. But you work the hook to avoid pushes and the more natural hook at this point is 3' instead of 4'. Neither of which is 17' -- which is about where I'd need to be to back Ohio State.

And I just called my book and placed a real money bet on...Auburn to cover. We won't beat them by 25. Crazy line.

-Of the 4 lines I checked, three have it as 4 and one has it as 3.5. To avoid a push, that goes to 3.5.

Push all those chips in, man. You must like betting a number in Roulette. In that game you have about a 96% chance of losing a bet on a single number. Right now, osu has a 40% chance of winning v. Michigan. At least it's a better pick than trying to win the lottery, something you said was akin to picking osu to win.

The thing is, I think that is a good line. The Bama-AU line, not so much. There is ZERO way we win by 25.

Honestly, Buchanan, I'm a little concerned that I'm going to eat a true assfucking middle. In gambling, lines move, as you know. So, Vegas may have gads of money on a team +7' and gads of money on the opposite team at -6' -- for the same game. Getting middled is when the game comes it a 7 and they lose both ways.

Here, the true assfuckery middle is a M win by 3 or less. I'd be much happier if the game were just a PK. Then the threat of getting middled is eliminated. As it is, I can see M "slowly dominating" the game and then giving up a last second score to turn a 10 point win into a 3 point win. I think that's pretty unlikely. I think it's at least a 3 score game. But, getting middled would be the nightmare.
