Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
My first thought in this weeks picks, a slate that was so awful as to be nearly impossible to make sane picks, was to wager something like $100 on a random pick. Then I got nutzy with Neb and Rutgers and lost my shirt. This is why I never bet CFB games for real money.

Congrats to CGVT. He took weekly honors and overall lead in the contest. Went with LSU at Jordan-Hare. I did not see that. Even without the two sketchy PI calls that set-up the winning FG, they still cover. So, nice play. The big loser was yours truly. I rode the Cornhuskers to Pound Town as they managed to be out-everythinged by the North Dothan Trojans.
Cody leaves us after this week.
I went down to St. James infirmary, I saw old Cody there
He was stretched out on a long white table,
So poor, so cool, and so fair
And finally, Oracle, this is your second week of an auto-pick. Failure to put in a wager this week and -pursuant to one of the laboriously wordy rules I have penned- I will assume you have dropped out and zero you.
