How about a wild card at CenturyLink Field, 2016 season, week 17, two 9-6 teams.
Matt opens with 3 and out start. Lions fall behind 13-6 in the 4th. Matt answers with a 3 and out. Lions have the ball 3 times in the 4th: 3 plays and 1 minute TOP, 4 plays and 39 seconds TOP, and 6 plays and 1:40 TOP. It took two 50 yards bombs by Prater to get any points.
Big Game Matt.....
You really have sprinted for the DWT crown desperate to start trolling threads. “No time to waste, I want some more attention!”
What you neglect to mention is that he went into Century Link field against a defense for the ages with plays called by Jim Bob Cooter and a running game of from memory consisting of Zenner and Abdullah. That’s the equivalent of trying to quell a nuclear bomb with a super soaker water pistol.
Watch what he does in a proper football team with a proper coach calling proper plays where he doesn’t have to do it all himself. In the meantime, shut the fuck up.Last edited by TheLondonLion; February 12, 2021, 07:37 PM.

It is - and you won. He’s gone. Rejoice.
We know what you think. You haven’t stopped telling us for years. Whatever you think, he’s the franchise leader in every major passing metric and he won’t be surpassed for a long, long time. He did give it his all in Detroit.
I actually agree with you that he could’ve stepped up at key times (Cincinnati) springs to mind. But this is a TEAM game. The best TEAMS go from Drew Brees, to Bridgewater to Taysom Hill and they don’t miss a beat. The Lions, in case you haven’t noticed - are a fucking dumpster fire. He’s had 9 100 yard rushers in his whole Detroit career ffs.

OK, so anyone who has supported Stiffy for the last 11 years needs to shut the fuck up too?
I just found it funny that Matt wants to play in big games, given his performance when something is on the line.
I actually thing the Dallas playoff loss was his best big game performance. The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder

He was brought there to bring home a Lombardi trophy.
Lets be honest, he'll shut me and NBT up completely if he does what he was brought there to do.
I'm just not sure he's joining a team that is ready to win it all like they were 2-3 years ago.

$200.00 if he completes 60% of his passes? The only logical explanation is:
