    • Yes I read that, apparently the interview has already happened.
Denver HC; “Ok Mr Stafford, we’ve seen what you can do. We’re impressed. But this shit right here? WTF is that? Side arm? What is side arm? If you can Fucking stop that, it’ll be £40M for season 1 then we’ll negotiate after that.”

"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

                  • The Cleveland clip is just so bonkers - from him telling dumbass Raiola "get the fuck off me" to the end where Linehan says "I don't what to tell you, i know you're hurt . . . . . . great job"

                      • I think the Cowboys game a few years back was my favorite moment. Actually most of my favorite Lions moments have been games against the Cowboys.

haha - that was cool to see someone completely unfamiliar with him or even NFL football to come away impressed.

Oh, and cynthia is from SE MI and is a Lions' fan. Poor gal.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

                            • The sad part was that he was kinda that high pick bad throws at bad times guy along with the good the first few years of his career and was that guy really until Caldwell shows up.

In 2014 under Caldwell, Stafford at 26 took that step to efficiency and not turning the ball over to hurt his team. Production dipped a little 24 Td's 12 ints. Defense was top 10 but it came with a playoff game against Dallas that we all know was a sham gifted by zebras to the Cowboys.

2015 the defense regressed to average and still no running game. Also unfortunately sees Stafford regress to start the season going 0-5 Throwing only 6-TD's to 8 ints. Then Stafford blows up finishing 7-4 with 26 TD's to 5 Int's and he's pretty much played at that efficiency ever since with his production varying based on what he has to work with.

2 more post Calvin 9-7 teams see Stafford throw 24 and 29 TD's respectively both only 10 ints.

2018 he starts the first year under Patricia defense is bad to start the year but becomes good further in, with still no real running game but Kerryon appears to at least be a threat. The season starts with an anomaly of a Jets game throwing 1 TD and 4 ints. He then goes with 13 TD's and 2 ints in the next 7. Around that time they lose Tate to trade, Jones and Kerryon Johnson to injury and finishes the season with only 7 Td's to 5 int's the last 8 games. They just have no playmakers on offense.

2019 sees still no running game and Patricia's defense in the form it holds today right out the gate. in 8 games Stafford throws 19 TD'S and 5 ints.

2020 same deal revolving door defense. Running game sucks other than Swift who is very limited in play by injury. Golladay misses 11 games and Stafford goes 26 Td's and 10 ints.

He's really become a guy that's gonna be smart and only throw about 10 ints a year and will produce at a high level if you put some talent around him which they've largely failed to do.

Really sad to look through years of lions football and see 30-32 in rushing almost every year and very little addressing of the RB position and O-line was addressed but poorly including letting 2 of their only good finds in Warford and Glasgow go.

Is the franchise doomed without Stafford? no. Chances are though if this team is to start winning its going to have to coincide with a running game and some defense. If those things don't happen it can get much worse without Stafford. This is a team sport and the Lions haven't fielded good teams. Hopefully that changes.

                              • I have a lot of Stafford moments I enjoyed. Certainly the Browns and Cowboys ones already shared are among my favorites.

Another was probably more of a Calvin Johnson moment but I was in attendance for a Bengals game in which Stafford avoided pressure and heaved a long ball to Calvin in triple coverage in the end zone and CJ comes down with it. I was about 20 rows back in that end zone. Probably my favorite football memory.
