If both sides consent the bonus can be pushed unless something has changed in the rules.

The 90s Lions were much more talented but the quarterback was always holding them back. That Fraquar can't see that tells you all you need to know about his philosophy.

Panthers, Broncos, Cowboys, Patriots, Washington, 49ers, Colts, Saints may all have varying levels of interest. Jets, Dolphins, Jags, Texans as longshots. Unless Watson loves the coaches we brought in I can't see him accepting a trade here when it will surely leave us without draft picks and cap.

Stafford potentially teaming up with Patricia and the Patriots. Hmmmm about that idea. Plus I’m assuming Bob Quinn will be back in the Patriots front office at some point.

There’s honestly a lot of nice landing spots there for Stafford if he’s going to attempt to win a Verlander-like championship.
Saints, 49ers, and Colts would be excellent teams right away with Stafford. Perhaps Washington too to a lesser extent.

I started following NFL in 08 and decided to watch Lions from 09. Been a fan (as big as fan as you can be half world away) since, to a point where I get sleepless nights when cardinals pull a comeback in w1 last yr or Swift drops it this yr. Heck, I even got Lions jersey as a wedding gift. I've basically never seen a game without Stafford being a Lion, he was an awesome player, great guy, bearer of hope if you will. I can't believe I'll no longer watch sidearm throws, and 4th Q comebacks.

That being said, think it's a right move both for him and franchise. It's seems Lions found a modern GM and good staff along HC and I have a feeling future is bright.

And as a last note. Fuck Patricia and Quin.
