Having said that he's a really really good player, but he's being paid like it too.Forever One!

30th in defense and 31st in rushing in Houston. Perhaps there's a theme of being bad at those things leading to losses despite having a good Quarterback? Nah...couldn't be.
Also until teams get conservative late in games being behind makes it harder to throw, not easier. Teams tee off on the pass rush. We see it every time we are down.

But the #7, ANOTHER 1st, and think King mentioned other considerations that would make it a stupid as hell trade if you're the Lions.

Watson won 4 games, and one was against the Lions. Great player, but he’d actually join what might be one of the few teams in the league that are less talented than Houston. and trading valuable picks for him would leave him in about the same situation he’s in right now, with an organization with limited means of improving.

Brady would look very average or even below in this Lions team.
There’d be no huge sacks and picks 6’s to help him out like the Bucs D gets. He’d have to score on every drive. And as we saw last night he killed quite a few drives before he got going. In Detroit he’d be 24-0 down by that point with no run game to lean on.
