              A lot of chatter in Detroit now that Stafford may have played his last down of football. Many think he will retire. After 2 broken backs in 6 months and no hope on the horizon I would no blame him. He has had a lot happen in his personal life as well. In the end it will be best for him and the Lions. Once he is gone a full on rebuild would commence. Another talented player wasted by the Lions.

                      Yeah, I haven't heard anything of the sort.

                      Though... personally... if he decided he had enough of the physical and mental abuse and decided this was it; I wouldn't blame him.
