          • The one way people really try to push their knowledge of football is by saying a quarterback focuses on their primary receiver too much. You don't even have to provide evidence or be right, nobody knows what the play is or how many actual options there are on a route. Sometimes its one or two options and if they aren't open you throw it away or take the sack. When you get better options on offense all of a sudden you become a much better quarterback.

Its the one thing that baffles me about the extreme ant-Riddick opinion in this forum, he's like the one guy who Stafford can reliably dump it to when things break down. Sure he makes too much, but he helps.

It all comes down to talent, the Lions simply haven't had enough talent on either side of the ball.

            • Sorry man....this is just a complete dumbass statement. It was only meant to other people mad....you're a troll....and a pretty weak one as they go.

I was about to argue about Stafford's elusiveness, brains, and diagnosing pre-snap pressure. But I'm not going to feed the troll here.

                • yeah sorry man....you're either a troll or your knowledge of football is so remedial you're not worth arguing with.

Repeat some vague soundbite by Peyton Manning as many times as you like. You're looking at a result....and saying definitively that you know who's at fault (Stafford...always Stafford) and why he's having difficulty (It's because Stafford sucks so very very badly).

You don't have the information to make the leaps you're making (especially since prior to the Caldwell era....Stafford's pre-snap reads were a strong suit)......and your whole opinion is based on an offhand remark by a former QB who's bestie was the OC.

So you're troll or an idiot...I'll let you decide which

                    • no...you're repeating the same thing over and over then ignoring anything anyone says that goes against your bullshit hot take.

so yeah...troll or idiot. Idiot or troll.

                        • Amazingly, it wasn't like that before the league figured out everything Cooter's little brain could muster and took all the places MS could go away.I remeber MS burning defenses and 4th quarter comebacks when he ditched Cooter's play calling and just did what he knew worked.

Your narrow view of just last year skews your thinking of this.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
