        The Lions bend over backward to accomadate Stafford.
        The doctors probably said he can't hurt it more with playing so end of story. Stafford plays.
        This story probably is being overstated anyway
        I think Mike O'Hare probably has a circle jerk in his love for Stafford.

                I'm no MS fan. But the "just anybody" thing is just a rehash of stupidity or laziness. IF you believe he is not the guy at all (IMHO I think he could be successful with a good running game and Defense) then why weren't you advocating for A SPECIFIC replacement? Is it because you fear that next guy won't be any better? Or even worse?

                Personally, I like Trevor Lawrence and unless MS has a huge uptick in his play my greatest future wish is that we find a way to draft him.

                    Because there is no way to make sure a SPECIFIC replacement is picked up, so why waste time on it.

                      My issue with Stafford ispersonality as well as performance.
                      Ten years of his stale personality along with the losing has just got me to the point I need a change.
                      Six wins or nine is the same to me.
                      You may have a piecw of furniture that you have had for 10 years and it just doesn't so anything good for the room anymore. So you replace it with something that in the end isn't going to do anything different but at least it's different.
                      I know it isnt the same but as only 1 fans perspective that's the one I hold.
                      Of course players and coaches change so to them Stafford is new to them and he is the new thing but fans have a different perspective.

                            Anytime someone starts with the "50 years..." bullshit I know they're not actually evaluating the player...they're evaluating the position. Evaluating Stafford's true performance is difficult when you're dumping the performance of Harrington and Chuck Long on his head.

                            And if you're looking for "1 player" to make you tingle.....go root for GB. Quinn is building a team .....and he's never gone looking for that 1 "star". If you can't see why this team is different and why there is some great potential here.......I can't show it to you because you've already closed off your mind to it.

                            The team is like one of those 3D posters....you need to kind of relax to see it.

                                Lions, Wide World of Sports, Ski Jump, Jim McKay.
                                That has been the Lions virtually every time they need to win a big game in my lifetime.
                                I'll believe this is a different team when they actually hit that ski jump, get their tips in the air, lean forward and stick the landing.
                                Till then, I just get ready for another Wide World of Sports rerun.
