Then what would you group of 5 do?
Talk about the draft prospects every year and get excited over the upgrades coming every year, which never do, til the team gets perfect?
Go back in all the draft threads and find out how many current Lions were when drafted, upgrades over the, then current player.
Knock yourself out.
we all need each other to take away the frustrations until the winning happens, if it ever does.

But, the reality of the draft, across the board is that less than 3% of all players drafted ever make a difference in the NFL. Less than half ever play in the NFL. Most of the rest are either special team fodder or just occupy a space and do nothing remarkable. The Washington Post published a study analyzing 20 drafts, two years ago - that was the conclusion.

Look at the top 4 teams this year. Philly - Minnesota - NE - Jacksonville
What do they all have in common? Do they all have elite QBs? Many don't consider Keenum, Foles, and Bortles to be possible GOATS. Nope that isnt it then.
They all have elite defensive units. 3/4 have very strong running games. They all have at least decent QBs. Look deeper into a lot of successful NFL franchises. Denver when they were elite with Manning - Look at that defense. When they won the SB Manning was garbage that year. Look at Pittsburgh. Big Ben is not any better than Stafford but he has an elite defense most years and Leveon Bell. Seattle won on the backs of that defense. Carolina recently - DEFENSE. Ravens won a ring. Was it because of Flacco or that monster defense? Cardinals? The D. Rams went from a shit show to a decent team this year because of what? Its not because Goff is the GOAT. Were the Bucs dominant under Gruden because of Brad Johnson? Nope. Stop being retarded. Its ok to be wrong.

What does these playoffs say?
That there are plenty of ways to field a team that can win in the playoffs. If you get lucky and find that generational QB, great. But if you don't, you don't have to keep playing that lottery if you have one that's good enough.
That's never really been up for debate. The question really amounts to is Matt Stafford good enough? The Hater's Club wants to claim "no," which is absolutely preposterous when you consider who is behind center for a lot of playoff teams.

It preposterous to suggest that Stafford is the reason they haven't won a playoff games when there are dozens of QBs in the last 10 years that have won a playoff game that aren't good enough to even be a starter in the league.
