Then why is he so in love with Detroit. Sanders had stayed living in the Detroit area. Always goes to retired Lion events and always honored WCF. He never showed that he was so disgruntled that he wanted out.
It's easy to write that in a book, 10 years after you retire to save face.

WTF has that Morrie Tuesday guy got to do with it?"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

He told Albom that is what would make it a successful career.
Albom followed up with the question about winning a Super Bowl. Sanders answered no, didn't matter, paraphrasing
He said he wasn't sure if being able to compete for a SB would have made a difference. The point is he said he didn't want to in his current team's state of affairs. WTF am I doing... basically. He didn't give a shit about breaking any records. a SB was the only thing was meaningful in his opinion.
His words.Lions Fans.

Point is noid, Stafford is only 29, still has half of his career left with his physical abilities. He can inform the Lions now that he is seeking to go somewhere else.
I think Quinn would start the process quickly to get a replacement instead of crying about how to keep him when he says he doesn't want to be here.

My point is Stafford leaves the game not winning, he can blame the franchise, but he also can move on and prove his worth elsewhere.
He doesn't owe Detroit anything. He treats it like a job when he talks, so he should treat it like any professional who wants to have success, and go to the organization that can help him achieve it.
Why be a loser in Detroit.

But, he doesn't want to leave. Like Barry he actually cares about what he considers his community.
In case you haven't noticed, Stafford is not a quitter in the face of challenge. Have you watched any games?Lions Fans.

I am not angry at all. At least we can discuss, and even bring up multiple subjects and possibilities. But I got to call it when I see bullshit. This is why we are here right?Lions Fans.
