    "Enjoy the ride". Loyd mcklendon, before his last year of managing mariners out here when some were predicting world series appearance. Finished below 500 and GM was fired mid year and Loyd gone after year. He then got job in toledo and now is waiting for ace to fall on Assmaus

        Nope. You miss by a decade and a half.

        Maybe this is not the team for you. I quit doing things (like my ex-wife) that make me that miserable.

          Lions don't make me miserable. They did when i was in my 30's. I still have passion for them and want them to win. I don't like that my hometown team have been losers since I was born.

          And thank you for your concern about my choice of team, but actually it's not a choice, I follow all the Detroit teams. I thought only CG could piss me off, but congratulations you have joined the club. Now go back and have a cigar in your den and watch the History channel reruns.

                    This off season seems the longest ever. Feels like years since we last saw Matt suck.

                          That is definitely the reason. Thanks for that. Can't speak for everyone, but I certainly lost interest early in the season. Only thing keeping me interested was ULF's pick em game.

                              Spring and Summer break is over, it is time to get into some Lions football.

                              I jump on the forum after 4 password attempts, 1 away from being locked out for 15 minutes which would have forced me to look at free online porn and never come back for at least 25 minutes.

                              This is the first thread on the list, what the hell have you guys been discussing for the past few months!
