No fruity I didn't blame Staffy for everything.
you read my posts the way you want to read them.
Stafford is a very good QB when he goes against average to below average opponents.
Now sometimes he plays well in spots against good teams.
Example is Chiefs game which I was at in person.
defense couldn't stop them in last minute of game.
But overall he isn't a big hame QB imo.
The Rams will find this out. They have. Very difficult schedule this year.
I see Rams at 10-7 or 11-6 tops.
They'll lose in first round if defense doesn't play well.

I do believe that Stafford needed to play better in Caldwells 4 years for them to win a division or advance on playoffs.
He didn't play big or motivate his teammates to play big.
and I know your going to say it isn't Staffords job to lead or motivate his teammates but the great ones do.
Its just Lions luck, and of course being 0-16 shows how shitty the ownership is/was, that when able to draft a QB #1 overall that instead of getting Payton Manning we got Jim Plunkett.

I will say this, Gonz was hesitant on him at first. Convinced him to take an objective view for awhile and MS didn't play like he thought so later (last 3 years) he started not liking him. He wan't always anti-Stafford.

Stafford is Secretariat, but was hampered by a trainer who didn't use a blanket before he strapped the saddle on too tight, was running with the wrong shoes and had Ron Turcotte pulling back on the reigns as he was fighting his best to get to the finish line.
