Saying 9-7 wasn't good enough was fine enough, but he hasn't shown the urgency in improving the situation. He thought bringing in Patricia was going to make it better. They were 9-7 for a reason, they were an average team.
Its very similar to the 2011 Lions, they had a decent team that was fairly young with some good pieces. They got knocked out by the Saints and instead of moving heaven and earth to upgrade, Mayhew stood pat. Quinn has added a few pieces in free agency but he has carried on pretty much on like status quo.
Everything you say is truth froot, I bow down to you

Isn't that the quintessential issue? He has no urgency. Whatever he saw to make him draft/sign/trade for a guy he hopes to see until it is way past where average Joes like myself sees it? It was painfully obvious that Teez wasn't cut out for this league. But he drafted him. Okay. Then he stunk year 1. Okay a lot of young CBs struggle a bit year 1. Then it went on for way too long and culminating with him finally giving up on him this year.
HE has to be better. I understand winning some and losing some. But, his wins are singular and the loses are mounting. And for heaven's sake, don't hold on too long. If it ain't working get someone in here that is going to.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
Sorry dude, just trying to get this godamned thread back on topic.
"...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
All these articles spewing garbage takes is kinda laughable. Is it that hard to believe that Stafford wanted to play and could play through the pain but the doctors said no the risk is too high on game day or even Saturday when he supposedly told his teammates with a final confirmation coming Sunday.
This is more of a problem with the process of how the NFL wants teams to file injury reports and how it went down. It's more like Stafford's status probably should have been listed doubtful on Friday at minimum.
If it was doctor's decision, it was just the Lions covering their ass for potential liability.
Liability? Stafford is the fucking liability.
