Get some no name qb with no star power and field a god damn team for once. With like play makers all over both sides of the ball.

But, enough! The Lions have been trying to build around 'that one guy' since the 70's in some fashion or another.

It is hard to swallow trading/cutting/parting ways with players (like Silvery Tot most recently), but if it works that would be great.

I sure fukkin hope Quinn is right on this shit, and whateve moves are to come - moving on from MS or not. I sure have more optimism in him than that guy who beats up Popeye with a pencil behind his ear.

For the record, Nick Foles would be a HUUUUUGE improvement.

So, you think Foles is the guy we should go after then? Because of the cap hit we would take for Mediocre Matty versus the salary disparity between the two, a straight up swap would probably remove half of the entire cap for the rest of the Lions team.. Of course they'd have that proven winner, Foles. Think that would do it? Foles and the guys in the parking lot of 7-11?

Or maybe we could trade Philly MS for Foles and 2 1st round picks (2019 and 2020), and a 6th in 2019? What is the scenario you see to make this happen? And of course you'll need to get Foles on board with flushing his career down the shitty kitty litter of the Lions?

Unfortunately, the Eagles don't have the cap room anyway for any scenario to take on MS. Shit, I just don't see how we land Nick Fukkin Foles. MS, Slay, Prater, Golladay and Johnson plus a chalupa for Foles, with the Lions eating the salaries for all of those players for 3 years?

The rest of the team matters, but not as much as the QB. And while great teams just don't stubble bum into a great QB, they also don't pass on good prospects in order to draft that much needed linemen to make their current QB somehow better.
