NBC threw out a stat that since Reggie Bush ran for over 100 yards there were something like 485 games played of those games there have been 127 100 rushers. what they didn't break down or I didn't see is out of those 127 games how games did the team with a 100 yard rusher win.

Last time I checked during Stafford's career, the Lions were the worst or second worse rushing team in the NFL. Reggio Bush was OK but with him they never got in the top half of the NFL. The only time the Lions had a truly threatening running game under Stafford was with Best in the first half of 2011

I never said be a top running team, just be average, get to consistently be 15th in the league rather than 26-32. Their running game has been truly terrible. Take that strawman and burn it to the effing ground. They have spent numerous resources on running backs who didn't work, Best, Abdullah, LeShoure, Bush, Kevin Smith with Stafford alone. The Lions have been comically incompetent at running the ball since Barry retired.
The Lions best year running the ball in the Stafford era was Bush's one ok year with the Lions in 2013, they were 17th. Most of the time they are in the bottom 6. Its not a hard concept.
Conversely, New England has never been known as a big time running team, but they consistently hover in or near the top 10 with a few exceptions.
If they can start running the ball like they did Sunday, then we can finally see what its like.
