    • No it counts as an int.

      • And then there was the toss away in the end zone that should have counted as an INT.

        Unbelievably bad.

        • It was a bad throwaway but it should not have counted as an int, if it was college it would have.

That said... the fact that throwaway was anywhere remotely in a position where it was close to an INT was a sign of how terrible Stafford was playing that night.

It looked like he may well have got both feet down to me.

An escape by the skin of teeth.

              • Mediocre Matty has more four interception games than he does wins against good teams.

no, he clearly didn't get the second foot down. getting a toe in bounds and having the rest of your foot out of bounds means that foot was not inbounds.

                    • When you are dragging your toes generally the rest of the bottom of your foot is not going out of bounds. If your foot is coming down and the toe is in bounds as the rest of the foot is out of bounds, the foot is out of bounds. Them's the rules or at least how they enforce them.

                      • - Second youngest QB in history to reach 5000 yards. HE SUCKS!

                        - Fastest QB ever to reach 25000 yards. HE SUCKS!

                        - Fastest QB ever to reach 3000 completions. HE SUCKS!

                        - Most fourth-quarter comebacks by any QB in a single season. HE SUCKS!

                        - Most fourth-quarter comebacks by any QB since he came into the league. HE SUCKS!

                        - Has continually defied his body, defied injury, defied horrendous pain to deliver for his team. HE SUCKS!

                        - And unlike Montana, or Elway, or Marino, or whoever, he did all this with a mediocre, non-contending team. HE SUCKS!

As for his record against winning teams:

                        1. It's not his fault that the refs screwed him and the team out of a win in Chicago, or in Seattle, or at home to Green Bay, or at Dallas in the playoffs

                        2. It's not his fault that Ndamukong Suh ended up missing an extra point v the Jets (or that he was trying to kick it in the first place)

                        3. It's not his fault that Caldwell punted on 4th and 1, or Schwartz threw the challenge flag, or Schwartz kneeled against the Giants, or Alex Henery couldn't hit a cow's backside with a banjo, or the Lions came up with the most laughable last-play defense in the history of mankind for the Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary

                        4. It's not his fault that the refs made the wrong call v Atlanta last season

                        5. Most importantly: in the best possible way, it is his fault that he and the Lions were the reason a bunch of 8-8 or 7-9 teams finished 8-8 or 7-9. Not to mention other teams, which lost interest late in the year because of the Lions beating them.

It's the most ludicrously misleading statistic in the whole sport: employed solely to beat Detroit's best QB in 60 years, who has carried the entire franchise on his back for a decade, over the head with a shovel. Give him a proper, contending team. Not a team so mediocre that he's constantly been expected to turn it, by himself, into a wild card team at best - before being blamed by ignorant media and fans when it's only ever ended up a wild card team at best.

And yes, he sucked on Monday. He stunk. Like everybody stunk. One game does not change what he's already done and who he already is. If you think Matthew Stafford is the problem, you are the problem. Or at least, a very big part of it.

Your record says what you are. Not your stats at QB.

YOU DO TOO. The fastest ever recorded to the ignore list.

Btw, welcome to the Lions forum.
