I wish he could hit free throws.

It’s weird, he’s a 77% career FTer, but the only reason it’s not 80%+ is that he’s had three seasons where it’s dipped into the mid/low 60s, including 2 of the last three. Every other season he’s been at least 75% and 6 of those years over 80%.

The Pistons are analytically in the top 5 teams since the trade deadline. #8 offensive rating, #1 defensive rating, #4 overall net rating. It's weird how well they rate defensively, I don't think of them as great defensively, but in my mind I'm looking for 2004 Pistons D.
The prospective opponent for the Pistons is the Knicks and they are #24 offensive rating, #26 defensive rating and #20 overall net rating since the deadline. The matchup isn't the lock it was two weeks ago. The Pistons still might get to the 5th seed. Milwaukee has a tough schedule to end the season and the Pistons have an average schedule left. The season ends with a home and home with the Bucks

The same teams run it back tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see if there's any carryover.

I thought I was being optimistic with a 30 win prediction. But they might end up in the mid 40s. I think if they had Schroeder the whole time a backup PG they would be challenging 50 wins. That was a big hole.
The one thing to remember in any future season prediction is how good the upcoming draft is. There is an inordinate amount of teams not interested in winning and they mostly reside in the East. The Pistons so far have been beating the brakes off those teams.

Was talking about Holland with some friends and we decided he’s your crazy friend that will throw down at any all times, no questions asked, no reason needed. He just sees somebody in your face at the bar and all the sudden he’s diving in and throwing haymakers.
Sort of like Gem from The Town.
