Cade had 29 in the first half, so the Hawks were determined to stop him in the second so they were doubling him at half court. That happened a lot last year but it hasn't been that common since the January. Having Schroeder helped out to have a second ball handler but it took them awhile to figure it out. The Hawks make for a good matchup for an entertaining game if you can tolerate the Trae Young constant farming for fouls

Atlanta's got three potential all-star wings in Daniels, Jalen Johnson (currently injured), and Risacher. Young annoys me, but he is still a very good player. That said, if they could trade him for a really good big, that might be their best long-term move. I think Daniels can play the point.

Not only 7 in a row, but a win against an above-500 team. Pistons starting a sequence against winning teams and they've had the worst record in the NBA for above-500 teams against other winning teams. Basically, we get to see how legit they are for the playoffs.
The highlight starting at 4:20 was really pretty and got a smile out of Cade

If we beat Boston and have an 8-game winning streak, it will be our longest streak since Jan-Feb. of 2008, when we won 10 in a row. We lost to the Magic in our first game after the All-Star break to end the run. We also had an 11-game winning streak earlier that season.

The Clips were short-handed but with Kawhi that is somewhat normal. The Clips are a really well coached team with Lue being helped by Jeff Van Gundy they give off the defensive vibe of a Van Gundy coached team. They ran out of a little steam by the end of the third quarter and the Pistons made their run.
Good win but the measuring stick is coming into town next. The C's have size and everyone can shoot the three, the last meeting was a blowout for the Celtics in Boston and is generally thought of as the last bad game before the turnaround. They have been 22-10 then. Stretch 5s give them trouble and Porzingis is the best of the bunch at that.
Fun team, they have won a lot of games they should win against tanking teams and short-handed teams. The next step is to measure up to the teams who are ahead of them. The climb up is always fun.

I wouldn't expect a win, but I would be disappointed if it's not competitive -- it's at home and the second game of the C's back to back.
