This is a shit season for the Pistons too. What a disappointment. They better pray that they win the lottery or we’ll be looking to draft another guard
And Hayes has been crap again.
F#*K OHIO!!!

Some huge names being moved in the NBA. I wonder if Durant is kicking himself for not staying put with GS. That Nets team was a complete shit show

Have to imagine there’s more to this considering Troy Weaver’s trade history.
What the f*ck? I don’t get this trade. Not even a little.

Unless they’re thinking Cade can be moved to SF and that we’re going to be stuck drafting a guard in this draft again.
I don’t get it

So the Warriors took Atlanta's 5 second round picks and Kevin Knox to the Blazers for GP II.
Basically the Pistons took on Wiseman's salary so they could bring back GPII and the Hawks get Bey. The Pistons did a huge favor to the Warriors for a chance to see if Wiseman can do anything. Wiseman has been bad. It's not even like last year when they took a chance on Bagley. Wiseman has shown nothing.
The problem with continually tanking is that people assume the bright side, but the dark side is you can turn into the Sacramento Kings(before this year) or the T-Pups. You can spend decades near the cellar.
I will say this. Lately, every single team just gets the ball to their big and no matter who it is or what his skill level is, he just dominates us. Hales, Plumlee was looking like an all-star against us.
I think their recency bias made them go for this move. I am not going to cry over losing Bey. After being benched, he's been bad. I haven't peeped at his shooting % but I would be floored if he's shooting a great % from deep. I don't think he wanted to be here after that benching. But dam, dude spends more time in the hot tub then on the floor.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
Well Future, if that is the case then every team we play doesn't follow the NBA script. It's easier if they do follow the script.
Get it to the big - dish it out for the 3. Done.
Get it to the big - dish it out and clear the space - let the PG attack the vacated space - done.
If the other team is just owning the post - that is literally 1980's play - and nobody plays like that anymore.
They are too afraid they will just be trading 2's for 3's - unless they know you can't hit the broad side of a barn.....
Since December, Bey has shit 38% from 3 while averaging 15 pts. He’s been a solid if up and down offensive player. His defensive is not good and he hasn’t been able to create offense. In fact trying to create more offense seemed to affect his shooting. If he had been a solid defender, then he’s easier to keep and play.
Wiseman has 4 years of doing jack and shit. He’s played 60 games total in three years and barely played in college due to his recruiting issues. He’s likely going to eat into Duren’s minutes the most, which sucks. And he has the rookie extension looming, after they just gave another injury prone, underperforming top 3 pick a 3 year contract.
Wiseman is a worthy gamble here. A lot bigger upside than Bey. Opens up a lot of playing time for Livers.
