        EASTERN CONFERENCE SUMMER LEAGUE PREVIEW

        Detroit Pistons (Summer League roster)

First-round pick Sekou Doumbouya headlines the Detroit roster, but there are also three players who were Pistons this past season who will need to use Las Vegas as a springboard towards increased minutes. Bruce Brown, who made 56 starts as a rookie due in large part to his abilities as a defender, will be playing as well fellow guards Khyri ThomasDeividas Sirvydis, Louis King and Bennie Boatwright are all undrafted free agents, with the last being a face-up four with range well beyond the three-point line. Boatwright was limited by injuries throughout his USC career, and could be a hidden gem if he stays health.

I was in Vegas at a bar watching that game at the time with USC picked on a parlay. Announcers loved them some Boatwright.
Fun game because USC was down big early, then Boatwright went on fire if I remember correctly...

And when was this? And got any proof of it outside of your assestions?

Probably not. And here is coming of calling anyone that disagrees with you on the Tigers a rube.

                      • Chris Ilitch was running the Tigers during the dark days of the 90s. He was calling the shots, he was cheap as fuck and it culminated with the 2003 debacle. Once that embarrassment happened Mike Ilitch took over because had shame. Mr. Parking Lot is shameless. Chemiclord's assertions are correct and you know it.

I love this. For the first time in years, there's no clear runaway superteam favorite.

                              • Russell Westbrook, hell no! Wrong side of 30 and that contract? The last year of that contract is 45 mil.

Due to his inflated annual salary and aggressive style of play, not every team would be interested in acquiring Westbrook, but he would have some suitors. According to a report from Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat and Houston Rockets would all potentially be interested in adding Westbrook via trade.

                                From The Athletic:
And while the mountains of money owed to Westbrook are known to have scared quite a few general managers away, sources say that Detroit and Miami are very real possibilities as potential landing spots for the 30-year-old eight-time All-Star.
