After the shock of the loss to the Commanders in the NFC Divisional Round 2 months ago, I took a long break from this Forum to get my anger and disappointment of the Commanders loss out of my system, and lo and behold, the Detroit Pistons are almost an NBA franchise again during the last 2 months for the first time since the end of the 2007-2008 season.

I love all the changes from the Front Office and the Head Coach, and hoping that we're trending in the right direction in the years to come.

Agree that was a great time to take a break....I'm hoping for at leat one playoff win for the Pistons to end that draught....Gores has done his part this past offseason, be nice to see him get at least a playoff win as owner.

We kind of need Laimbeer or someone to mentor Stew in some of the dark arts. He is so blatant in some of the shit he does that he makes it easy for the refs. He's too valuable as a defender to get tossed like he does.

Yeah, and now he’s hit that limit for technicals where he’ll get suspended, I think. I didn’t get why Reid got in Holland’s face. Holland stripped the ball. It didn’t seem like a dirty play. Unless he was looking for a confrontation considering how the Pistons were controlling the game to that point. DiVicenso should have tried to push Reid back but instead he put his hands on Holland. I can understand why Holland didn’t like that.

Reid and DDV were in the wrong on that specific play, but I think some of it started on a few possessions previously. Stew just does a lot of roughing players up in the name of boxing out and it starts escalating things. That was a clean strip by Holland, Reid is Charmin soft and couldn't take it.

Reid and DDV were in the wrong on that specific play, but I think some of it started on a few possessions previously. Stew just does a lot of roughing players up in the name of boxing out and it starts escalating things. That was a clean strip by Holland, Reid is Charmin soft and couldn't take it.

There's a clip going around of a play earlier. DDV chirped something at Stew after Stew missed a bunny. DDV then got the ball on a semi-breakaway and he and Holland got a little tangled and Stew took the opportunity to also get a little "tangled". Basically, the two of them were both looking for an excuse.

Still, none of that was tech worthy. Reid wagged the finger which crosses the line lightly and DDV tackled Holland which completely crosses the line. They should get the worst of the punishment, but we know that the league will "balance" it by giving out more.
