Was not expecting wins in LA and Phoenix...The West Coast trip usually was disaster in the past, even when the Pistons were good.

The Pistons are pretty physical this year and they bullied the Lakers. Cade in particular was hunting Reaves. The Suns are a little better but neither team has a bench. When you spend so much on the top players, there is no bench.

It's notable that both KD and LeBron want the praises of Cade. He didn't really have a good game last night but some of that is terrible whistle.

Holy fuck, I gave up on that game. I was exhausted from attending the GameAbove Sports Bowl and the Pistons were down big.

They have equaled last year's win total. We need a military tribunal for both Troy Weaver and Monty Williams.

Ya know, I understand every shooter does this because the officials let them get away with it, but I loathe this entire "I'm the shooter, I'm going to throw myself into the defender, initiate contact, and get the foul because... reasons, I guess" officiating that has been going on since forever.

That was far from egregious on Ivey's part and Fox was out of position. Ivey got fouled on the leg, what they were trying to eliminate is shooters jumping 3 feet to the side into the defender to draw contact. That's not what Ivey did.

There's one angle on the foul that shows Fox purposely grabbing Ivey. The angle was from behind the head of the ref underneath the basket, so there was absolutely no doubt on the foul.

The only real question is if Ivey is doing an unnatural launch as the Kings announcers claimed. That happens when guys are shooting threes and they kick their legs out to draw contact. They have become real strict on that. That didn't occur even if it's clear Ivey is trying to draw a foul. Fox got under his legs and contacted him. You get under someone's legs on a three and you can get a Flagrant 1.
