Kinda like the Tigers, people are taking a wait and see, most likely expecting the same as we have seen since Gores bought the team.When/if the team starts to win some games more will get on board, but right now I think most still see them as a bottom five NBA team.

Good chance they start out 0-6 or possibly even 0-8 because of the tough opening schedule. They've been competitive in each game but have kind of fallen apart in the 4th. Cunningham is playing well and Ivey has taken a big step up (big 3pt percentage improvement ). Teams are still sending 2 at Cade regularly. The new players have been spotty. The lack of a backup point guard is hurting. Rim protection is hurting.
There are things to work on and you can envision improvement in team play that was hard to see last year, but 0-4 is still disappointing. I was bullish on them finishing with 30 wins but you actually have to win games

They now have to fly back from NY to play the Lakers at home tomorrow. Winning 2 in a row will be a tough ask"I hope to see the Lions in the Super Bowl before I die"

Heartbreak at the buzzer on a Brandon Miller putback won it. Cade started out hot in the first, killing them on drives to the basket. Cade didn't adjust as he kept on trying to force the issue. The offense can get a little clunky outside of Cade and Ivey. The numbers show the offense being highly efficient with both in the floor (but not great defensively). Still a lot better than last year, but that is a low bar.
