    • I get that, but they shackled themselves with that contract. He contributed a lot to last year's championship run, but he has been a detriment to this year's playoff run. Whatever is going on with him and the team is bad.

      • I regret wanting the Pistons to make a move for Poole last year prior to the Pistons drafting Ivey. Poole occasionally had those streaky playoff stretches of late 3rd Q/ early 4th Q dominance last year.
We were led to believe the Warriors would draft Wagner that year too. Surprised me they passed on him. Could have been Poole + Wagner! (Though Poole sucks now)

Brunson though? Totally would have been worth it, but it wasn’t happening with this team. One can dream…. Rare good idea from me.

5 days to the lottery FYI.

          • Me too. I thought the Knicks were dumb for that move. I was way wrong.

            • Every so often, Lebron impacts a game in a way that reminds you that no matter who the opponent, no matter where the game is played, he can be the best player on that court bar none. Can't do it every night anymore, but when he needs to dig deep, he can still find that extra gear.

He was great in the playoffs for Dallas the prior year...its no surprise he played as well as he did...even so he wasnt a great fit for the Pistons....Another ball dominant PG is really not what they need unless they trade one of the ones they already have.

Don’t say that too loud. Scoot might be the pick

Yeah he pretty much is the 2nd best player in the draft so if its pick number 2 that is a strong possibility....The team should at least trade Killian (maybe trade him anyway) if Scoot is the pick..... Kinda reminds me of the Kings when they had haliburton and Fox.....They traded haliburton for Sabonis who helped their frontcourt greatly....The Pistons may have to do something like that also.

                    • He's electric and his hand /eye coordination is insane but I wonder about his shot. I'm not sure if I like him more than Ivey or Cade.

                      • Seems like a no-brainer move for the Pistons to hire Monty Williams at HC if possible. I don’t think anyone else is really going to hire Ollie, Collins, or Lee … specifically Ollie being from left-field. Yes, Lee has had many interviews in recent years. My die-hard Bucks buddy is praying they don’t hire Lee though. I trust someone with insight into the situation there.

Monty Williams is 51 years old. Built the Suns from nothing to a contender. Viewed as a consensus top 10 HC. It’s the right move to at least bridge this team from crap to some relevance… assuming the roster improves. Healthy Cade, ascension from other young players, maybe a top 3 draft choice (Wemby, Scoot, or Miller), and smartly making use of that cap space.

                        • Some people watch adult videos on their computer,” Schwartz said. “I go to YouTube and watch Jahvid Best highlights. That’s what
                          gets me going

I still can't believe he said this. What a moron.

They’ll no doubt have competition for Monty.

                            • Embid and Harden look like they would rather be anywhere else than a game 7. The Sixers.still haven't surpaseed what Doug Collins did before they started the process.
