When Weaver came in this was an old capped out team. Wasn't much talent either. Now you have a lot of young talent. This is a very very young team.
Cade going down killed any chance for even thinking about a playin team.
Stewart , Hayes and Livers all look like rotation level players. Ivey and Duran look like at least a level above that. Cade is a building block.
BB and Burks provide desperately needed shooting from the outside.
Wiseman might be a bust but it is hard to say that after only 63 games played dating from his Memphis cameo. He can shoot the ball and has some offensive skills. His biggest problem is defense (especially on the perimeter and PnR). The talent is there. And he will get a chance here to make mistakes.
Maybe he proves he is a bust. But Bey was not in the long term plans apparently so they grabbed a lottery ticket here. No problem with that.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

The issues come with everything else, FA, Trades and even his coach.
He was on the morning show and he spoke about how New Orleans got a lot better when Zion came back and they added a good pick to that. O K. Is that a viable strategy? IDK, I still like this group better then the Drummond led children that preceded them.
At least I don't hate the players. Just hate the game
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

Mannnn, if they did win the lottery this year. This would be a really difficult team to play. Cade’s size at point, Ivey’s speed and Victor W’s everything.
F#*K OHIO!!!

The real wild card is Wiseman.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

I don’t think Hayes is a starter on a good team long term. I’ll be surprised if he gets a 2nd contract with the Pistons. If there’s a future backcourt on this roster right now, it’s Ivey and Cade, and both still have a lot to prove, and neither is a real lead guard.

Yeah he can start long term on a good team. I don't think you can count on him scoring a bunch, but he looks to get others involved which increases offensive efficiency. Don't think he is going to break the bank on his second contract. Hayes has his flaws but the parts are there.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J.
