No. He stepped on an opponents foot and did the splits in the wrong way. Dam
Non contact knee injury… not good. Hope we hear good news in a few hours, but I’m nervous it’s a torn ACL. I did read an article a few months ago about the medical advances in ACL surgery… pretty neat. Still would suck to lose Bagley for a year.
They are counting on too many players 23 and under. Long term they might have better prospects than 5 teams, but not for this season. There are going to be times when the fan base will be complaining about the minutes Cory Joseph is getting, but he will be getting the minutes because he's a veteran who makes the simple plays.
And Rodney McGruder
Our guy Key plays like a vet too. A true glue guy
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
This team does not look good....30 wins is probably the ceiling for this team...They dont shoot very well, too many turnovers, and they play very poor defense.
At too many times they look like a bunch of guys thrown together for a pickup game. I like Casey, but this team does not have the look of at that is progressing.

I keep telling myself to really try to have patience with this group, especially the Cade/Ivey dynamic. I was leaning Mathurin heading into the draft because of the easy fit with Cade as his athletic shooter on the wing, and he's put up some big numbers in the pre-season. Ivey and Cade will be a work in progress.
They also play ver undisciplined. In today's NBA, defense is predicated on moving your feet and taking charges. This group just reaches and slaps. Getting out of position constantly. And none of them scare anyone so players just pull up as if no one is there and sink shots where ever they take them. I don't expect a Bad Boys or Goin to work level defensive effort, just normal would be ok for now. They're awful on both ends of the court.

The NBA is an old man league and they are young. A lot of these players are possible trade pieces. If they appear to look like a thrown together pickup team, it's because that's what the off-season was. They aquired assets using their cap space.
Ivey’s going to have to prove that he can stay healthy. Seems like a big if given our Detroit sports injury bug of late.
No question, I’m expecting some inconsistencies out of Ivey. Flashes of brilliance mixed in with whatever the heck that Saint Peter’s vs Purdue game was.
One more high 20s/ low 30s win season for the Pistons. Maybe get extreme lottery luck. Use the huge amount of cap space, Then hopefully 2023/2024 is the season to take off for the young core.
