Here's a 6 min Holmgren clip. I caught the 2nd half of this game last week. He went beast mode.

If you don't see it after this clip, I really don't know what to tell you.

I’m glad that I watched all the way to the end. I was going to say that it looks like the majority of his clips. Blocks, rebounds and dunks. Most of the time against lesser competition in HS gyms and he’s generally not the focal point of the offense.

Id gladly take Smith, Ivey and Panchero over him. They all have far superior athletic ability and have better range.

BUT.. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a 7fter drive like that kid. He has decent handles and his length is for sure intimidating for getting swatted. His help defense in the NBA will be incredible with his wingspan.

If the Stones drafted him I’d have no issue with it. I’m really looking forward to seeing him in the tourney. If he takes over that could make him the #1 pick regardless

      • If you click on that link and scroll down, there's an 8 min clip from the BYU game. He had something like 20/17 with 6 blocks and 5 dimes. He looks like he went up a level in a one game span.

His floor skills are unreal. You even see him flash passing skills in the BYU game. He's just dropping dimes in a split second. I mean, this guy is a total stud. You have to think of him as an eraser on defense capable of switching out to three, with the ball skills and shooting of a guard.

I've never seen anyone like him......ever.

        • Chet's ability to block a shot or grab a board and take the ball up court is unreal for that size. He initiates offense. Imagine if we have a supersized guard like Cade and then the unicorn Chet with their ability to bring the ball up, run PNR, and shoot from anywhere.

          • Pistons get Bagley for Josh Jackson, Trey Lyle's and a couple second rounders. He is a restricted free agent after the season. It was interesting to see they didn't need to trade Grant as that was the rumored trade beforehand.

            • The classic attempt to give a high draft pick that didn’t work out a second chance. Might not work out, but I like the creativity given the circumstance. Low cost, maybe some potential. Bagley was drafted ahead of Doncic and Young …

Pistons similarly brought in Josh Jackson and Jahlil Okafor in recent years. Low cost that didn’t really do much.

              • That’s a fantastic trade for the Pistons. Some spare parts and a few seconders for the #2 overall pick. I’m not saying this kid will be an all star but his potential is there.

That’s a low cost move they should be making

I have no idea if this was a great move or not, but the comments from Detroit Sports Radio was hilarious.

                  • If we can get him to play defense, then it can work out. He's skilled for a big. His defensive effort was pathetic in Sacto.

                    • Even pathetic defense from Bagley has to be an upgrade defensively from those Trey Lyles as a 5 lineup.

                      • Another great thing about the trade is that I can now use one of my favorite movie quotes in regards to Marvin more often

”Oh man, i shot Marvin in the face”

                          • That James Harden / Simmons trade is crazy. Both got what they wanted. Time to see if Simmons is ready to move on or just a complete basket case. Going from Philly to NYC isn’t the best for his fragile self but it’s going to be fun to watch

                            • Strong outing for Bagleys start as a Piston. If he can learn how to stay consistent with defense he could be a nice piece

                              • Hayes can still be a face of the Pistons’ future. But with each down in a season with sparse personal highs, the clock starts to tick a little faster.

Troy Weaver remains 'very confident' in Killian Hayes
