Is it the 80s all over again?

Positions in today's NBA refer to whom they are guarding. Not what their offensive duties are.

I think you need to call KD and Lebron and tell em to park in a corner because they're not PGs for their team.

    My Goodness
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

    • Holy dumpster fire of shooting for the Stones against Orlando. Terrible
      F#*K OHIO!!!

      • Last year they were in the top 10 of defense in the second half of the season, this year it looks like anybody can score on them.

        • There’s been a lot going on this season with injuries as well. Cunningham not being ready at the beginning of the season, all the COVID IRs and Grant has really impacted the young team.

I’ve been on the trading Grant for a decent haul if they can but the more I look at Grant the more it might be best to keep him. He’s played really well coming out from the 3 and D role. He’s motivated to be an All Star and he’s right there.

Cade, Grant, Bay and a top 3 pick could give us a solid core. We can pay Grant until the young guys come off of their rookie salaries

          • Doesn’t Bey play better when Grant is out of the lineup?

            • He has been, he plays more 4 in Grant's absence.

              • He still can't shoot the ball but Hayes has been ok off the bench. Maybe this is something that he can build from. I will say I forgot that he was injured much of last year. His shooting is terrible but maybe he turns it around with less pressure being a 6th man.

He could definitely still have a place in the league as a good bench defender and backup facilitator. I think they are forcing him into the shooting role to try to get him off-ball experience. He's obviouslynot gonna be a primary point here and will have to improve his shot to stick around. It's fine to do that now while you still aren't competitive but he'll have to improve enough by next year or he'll be out of opportunities to get court time. I know role player isn't what people want from a first rounder but it would be better than a complete bust.

                  • It sucks that Cade went down with a possible hip injury but it was a really good night offensively for Jerami Grant. He’d been off for awhile, good for him.

                    • Grant is a good player that will score points, but, he stagnates the offense by holding the ball too long.

                      • He’s not THE guy but he’s a good player. They could be serious players if they keep him and draft Ivey. Detroit would have a nice lineup

                        • It would be better if the Bulls pony up Patrick Williams for Grant.

I’d love for that trade to go down but I don’t think Chicago will pull the trigger. Everyone knows the Pistons would do it as he’s who they wanted to pick in 2020

                              • Ya, Grant is a ball stopper. Stagnates the offense. He must go for the premium haul now.

CHI are idiots if they don’t trade Williams ( who is hurt) for a team built to win now. They went all in with the Vuc trade and DeRozen signing. Plus, LaVine is a FA. You can’t go all-in and hoard your last chip (who is not even expected to play this year.)
