The game against Sacramento was awful. Very sloppy. The shooting is still bad. I would assume it has to get better.
I guess there are rumors the Pistons could deal for Bagley from the Kings. Does that make sense? I’ve heard he’s been misused there but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

Out of curiosity and a desire to see the number one pick play I've tried to watch a couple of Pistons games.
The shit is unwatchable.Last edited by CGVT; November 17, 2021, 08:32 PM.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

There was a time period when the only young player us Pistons fans had to look forward to was Austin Daye. That year was depressing. Around the time the Pistons swung and missed on Charlie V and Gordon.
Yeah, I know Wallace, Hamilton, and Prince might have been on the team. Sad to watch an old version of those three,
The Drummond era… not sure what was worse… SVG era or the Stefanski clean up job era. Both sad as a fan.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

I consider the current era to start when they traded for Iverson. The GMs and coaches changed but the teams were strangely consistent in how they played. Their better players were boring and they could be counted on for 28-32 wins. I can only hope the Troy Weaver era is really the line of demarcation.
The Teal era is weirdly underrated compared to whatever era this is. Back in the 2000s it was looked on in disgust because it was sandwiched between the two greatest eras of Piston basketball. The Teal era was no great shakes, but they had a kind of fun team to watch. I enjoyed Hill, Stackhouse and Houston. They had a couple of decent seasons that were enjoyable even though you knew they weren't going very far.

If they could've gotten a smart GM prior to when Joe D became the GM right after he retired, they could've contended for championships with the right players and Head Coach."I hope to see the Lions in the Super Bowl before I die"

The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
