Does he need the chip? What happens when he gets the big pay day and there's no more "chips"?
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

Depends. If he's really just in the NBA for the payday, he's probably not going to get to that big payday point to begin with.

But if he's one of those players who is motivated by perceived slights, he's never going to run out of "chips." He'll actively find something to get his juices flowing. Fun fact, Tom Brady is such a player. You'd think by this point in his career, he'd have long run out of criticism to fuel him... but nah, brah. He's still able to manufacture slights to keep him going. If Green wants it... he'll find it.

      • Cunningham looked better in Friday's game against the Knicks. This guy Pickett was the whole show in the first quarter, scoring 13, mostly on threes.

Maybe he ran out after playing against us? That next game he and HOU looked terrible and got beat down. Maybe he needs to go to Meijers and get some more chips

          • So how did they look Friday. I spent most of my time preparing for my son's open house and I had the Lions on but I didn't have time to catch the Pistons. How did they look?

They looked improved. Isiah Livers should lose his roster spot to Pickett. Cade didn't defer as much so he was more effective. Garza is going to be a fan favorite because he plays hard. Don't laugh, but he reminds me of Lambier in some ways.

Saturday, Cade, and Hayes did not play. Garza looked tolerable in his awkward sort of way, but he hit multiple threes and rebounded well. Saben Lee ran the team better than either Cunningham or Hayes have in the previous games. Tonite's game is on ESPN2 at 8:00.

                • Cade isn’t going to make Hayes expendable but Saben Lee just might. That kid played really well the other night

Lambs moved better but his shot looks exactly the same. That shot from the top of the key looked just like him. You’re totally right

Did Livers play? No way Livers doesn't make THIS team. It's easy to forget what he does because we haven't seen him since February. Recency bias.

I thought about that (Garza = Killa Bill). The ole Tippy Toe jumper was deadly.

Bill, what is the difference between your teams and New York Knicks, "Well, we can actually shoot."

Livers didn’t because the Pistons are taking it slow with his foot injury recovery.
I anticipate Livers signing a two-way contract… Playing in the G League... Might be called up depending on how he looks.

                            • Saben Lee is no doubt a Piston. That dude looks like a legit NBA point guard. I don't care what pick he was selected at.

Livers has already signed a 3 year deal.
