Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

    • I still kind of like what I'm seeing here. I think Casey is building something. The team works hard and has depth. That's Detriot basketball.

I think they'll be in the mix for the East next year, maybe even make waves this year as it continues to come together.
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

              • Blake Griffin was a Gores idea first and foremost, Stan may have signed on because he's a good player but the owner wanted a star.

I just came in here to post about that. GC Stones, who hosts the current incarnation (last 6-7 years?) hasn't posted there in forever. I'm guessing that he didn't re-up for whatever he was paying. I'm FB friends with a handful of posters and we're trying to track him down. Otherwise, it's either a FB group or maybe Deb would be okay with starting a different page here?

                    • I wasn't in on the Griffin acquisition at first. The flashy big-name isn't how you build the Pistons.

But Griffin has proven to be the exception. He's the outright leader of this team, and he has bought in to what Casey is preaching. He's on the floor after loose balls, playing hard.

                        • Griffin's contract is a problem, but yeah Leuer, Galloway and Jackson are much bigger problems. Griffin has been a pleasant surprise in how he has bought in.
