England scored a grand total of 3 goals from open play the entire tournament - and one of those was a ricochet off the back of Kane's leg. If the other teams would have just stopped being stupid and quit giving England free kicks - they'd have been out of the tournament weeks ago. Beyond Trippier I'm not sure they have anyone who can make that killer pass/cross.
Most frustrating thing to watch is the guy who was the successor to Gerrard, i.e. Henderson. Guy has no earthly idea how to make a pass going forward to open up an attack - everything is backwards to his defenders or the goalkeeper. When he does try the rare foray forward it's 5 yards off target.Comment
